Annaliese got to spend some time with her big brother over the Christmas holiday. Here they are on the couch playing a video game. At least Annaliese thinks she's playing. She is just thrilled to have her own controller and to be sitting with her big brother!

Christmas in Michigan

We celebrated Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Jacob's house in Michigan. Uncle Tim and Aunt Suzanne came too. It was definitely a white Christmas in Michigan, so Annaliese got to play in the snow and go sledding. We had a great time! Grandma and Grandpa Jacob are now in Arizona away from the cold and snow enjoying the sun. We got to see them on their way since they drove, ane we will get to see them again on their way back in March. We can't wait!

Christmas in Chicago

On our way to Michigan, we stoped by Lisa and Matt's house to spend the night and let our kids open presents together in the morning. Eric, John and Annaliese had a great time together. Annaliese loved all of the new toys around for her to play with. She and John played very well togher, epecially in John's kitchen. Among one of the many gifts Annaliese got from the Ramos' was her very own shopping cart. She loves it! We can't wait until the next time we get to visit.

Christmas 2008 Rewind

Since I am behind with my blogging, I am going to try to play catch up. This year, we celebrated Christmas at home on Dec. 21. Annaliese had a little photo shoot after church with her favorite cousins, Mia and Lilah. Then we headed to Grandma and Granpa Lockwood's house to open presents. Grandpa read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to Annaliese. It was one of her Christmas presents and a start to a new tradition. Each year, someone different will read that same story to Annaliese and sign and date the inside of her book. Annaliese loved opening all of her presents, and especially loved playing with the paper.

Can you believe it? I am finally blogging again! We got a new camera recently and Chris and I are having fun playing around with it a learning all of the fun things we can do with it. When we upload our pictures now, there is a link to this blogger which makes things much easier and faster for me to do. Hopefully this will allow me to blog more often. I still need to play catch up and post some more pictures from Christmas, but in the mean time here is one of the fun collages we made with some recent close ups of our cutie pie.
